Program characteristic:
A Parent's Help is not qualified in child care. She may have done some child care work either baby-sitting at week-ends and evenings or worked casually in a child care centre/nursery. Parents' Helps are usually girls who want to work with children after leaving school/college/university or wish to take time off from a job and will normally commit to working for a family for a year.

Parent's Help duties:
The Parent's Help duties are to assist the mother with the children and light housework (e.g. vacuuming, dusting, preparing meals, light washing, ironing, etc.)

Work and pay:
Approximately 40 hours per week. Salaries are based on age and experience. Start from 200 € per week.

To ensure you have an exciting and successful year abroad as an au pair, we require the following criteria for you to apply:
- Age 20 years +
- Have childcare experience
- Have conversational English skills
- Have completed your secondary education
- Be flexible, mature, independent and positive
- Driver's license is a plus
- Have no criminal record
- Be in good health
